The OEM develops metrology machinery. The supplier develops, produces and assembles mechatronical systems and modules.
The OEM wants to focus on the development of specific metrology solutions. The machine, with a solution for very specific positioning of the samples that need to be measured is completely outsourced to the supplier. This resulted in an improvement in the time to market for the OEM.
